How much do the summer camps cost?
The fees have been set by APEEE. For more info regarding fees you should contact their office directly.
Is a hot meal included in the fee?
You have the option to chose with/without hot meal during the registration process.
What happens with transportation?
The schedule is announced on the APEEE website. You are advised to contact their office directly.
Where do I register my child?
There is an online registration and payment form on the APEEE website
How do I register my child?
You should chose either Week 1 or Week 2. All groups within the same week include the same modules in different order. Therefore it is not important in which Group you enrolL your child. It is important to choose only the Week you are interested in.
What are the selection criteria?
Enrollments are on a first come, first served basis.

How long do the summer camps last?
Each summer camp is designed to last 5 or 4 days respectively (25-29/6, 2-5/7). On the second week, 2-5/7/2018 it lasts 4 days because the school closes on Thursday 5th for the annual summer holidays.
Are any trips or excursions included?
No, all modules will take place in the premises on the European School III (classroom, ICT room, school yard)
Do the students need to bring anything with them?
Secondary education students will need to bring their own laptops (wi-fi connection, MS Office, Updated browser) everyday. For 1 day (for the treasure hunt) they will need to bring a portable device (smartphone, tablet) with a QR code reader app installed.

What will the students learn?
1. With primary education students, we will mostly work with LEGO WeDo robotics and Presentations (typing, Powerpoint, Prezi)
2. With secondary education students, we will work with LEGO Mindstorm EV3 and a great variety of ICT, media and Web 2.0 tools. There are customized sessions on counseling and career orientation, as well.
3. Soft skills, team building, constructive and inquiry-based approaches are included in all summer camps.

What is the language of instruction?
All modules will be delivered in English. Occasional help can be provided in French, Spanish, Greek and German. ICT terminology will not be a problem (we will distribute a multilingual list of frequently used ICT terminology).
Note: The modules on career orientation and counseling will be delivered exclusively in English (a good command on English is essential)

Ms Maria Kouklatzidou is a Primary School seconded teacher on EEB3. All 3 tutors are well-qualified, licensed and experienced in their field of studies and their profession. For more info you can have a look at the Tab: About on this website or contact us via the Contact Form.
